35th Anniversary Collectors Pony's - Part 2!

Interesting. I'm still missing 3 Rainbows but then I'll have half scented and half non scented. The scents have pretty much disappeared on mine also. 

I'm happy to see non scented Rainbow ponies though and it's nice Basic Fun seems to be listening/ or figured out that the scent was causing them to discolor. Now if we could only get the unicorns and pegasus ponies to stay in stock long enough for everyone to get them.

Bridge Direct are listening to us! Yay!! Still not sure if I'll pick them up or not (depends on if they ever show up in my neck of the woods, really ) but this is a fantastic development!!!!

I agree, it's great to know that they've taken stuff on board like this. I was worried given the overtly negative comments about the rainbows/scents that they might just pull the line completely, so kudos for them that they didn't.

I wonder if we should consider this the budget model?

Rainbows aren't in stores any more near me, but I will keep my eyes peeled for these just from interest. Although I more want to see Medley and co appear to be honest.

OH wow that's great- I wonder if I can exchange my scented for the non-scented?  I guess not since I didn't buy the originals at Target...

I just dropped by Target and found the non-scented Rainbow ponies.  I bought all they had (four out of the six.)  They also had the Unicorn / Pegasus set!  FINALLY!!!  I mean, there were only two left but so what, this is the first time I've seen them in an actual store so I was ecstatic.

Also, you know how scented Sunlight is slightly greenish and Parasol has a slight orangish tinge?  I think it was due to the perfume.  It's a hardly noticeable difference on Parasol, but pretty easy to spot on Sunlight.

Please forgive the terrible quality of this picture. Scented Sunlight is on the left, non-scented on the right.  (Scented Sunlight hasn't "yellowed" in the sense of getting any more yellow since I got her, she has always been that greenish color.)

I haven't had a chance to compare scented Moonstone with non-scented Moonstone, but going off my memory I do think there's a slight difference in color.

Skydancer . . . is still yellow;  yellow on yellow just looks yellow. 

Edit:  Yes, I am honestly amazed that Basic Fun actually corrected this issue, and am so happy they did.

We went by Target with my boyfriend last night, saw a full restock of Rainbows and Pretty Parlors. No Unicorns or Pegasus.

I checked Target today also and they only had 3 scented Rainbow, 3 collector ponies and lost of Pretty Parlor sets. No non scented Rainbows or unicorns/pegasus ponies.

Same!  I've been holding out for a nice Confetti for years! lol!  The year three rainbows did not age well--or at least the ones I have didn't!  Re-releasing them is fantastic!
