Well, finally and to my utter delight I am able to post that I have ordered 4 of the rainbow ponies: Sunlight, Parasol, Windy and Starshine. Cotton On have decided to bring them in to South Africa and have now reached the status as my Most Favourite Store. I love Cotton On like I have never loved any retailer ever before! 

Yay! Congratulations! So glad these girls are finally making it global!

I'm hoping that these girls will do really well so that dear, darling Cotton on (best store ever) will feel inspired to bring more than just those four ponies in. But for now I am beyond thrilled with who I have.

The unicorn and pegasus set is showing up at Nordstrom Rack stores in the US.  I found part of two sets at my local store today.

Wow how random! Are they discounted there ?

I needed a new bra anyway . . . two birds with one stone.

Just had a lengthy conversation with John Lewis customer service department. UK people listen up.

At present nothing on their system for wave 3 and therefore (unless wave 3 has the same code as wave 1 in the UK) it is not likely that JL will have the unipegs before Christmas. The projected date given to Glitterball by the other retailer was Feb, though, so that tallies.

Wave 1 and wave 2 - at present according to the figures the lady gave me, they have only a few CP in stock and many Rainbows in their warehouse. Neither are discontinued and they are due to be restocking both in late November. So these are their Christmas lines, also making it seem more likely wave 3 will be in the new year if it comes there.

If you can't find them in your stores you can request through your store for collect in store 2 days later. I have the codes for wave 1 and wave 2 but you can't buy specific ponies as they don't have that record.

These don't show up on the website under normal search so you need the product codes. And because they're not on the site they can't be ordered online, I don't think. Only in store for collection.

I hope this is helpful to some folk, if there is to be a restock in November it seems likely that the stores which don't currently have these may well get them in the next few weeks, so keep looking!

I have also passed on to this helpful customer service person that there is a whole community of crazy UK ponypeople looking for these and especially looking for wave 3, so please to keep it in mind. Though I suspect that stocking of wave 3 will depend on sales of wave 1 and 2.

Well I got mine in the mail the other day and they are great! I am so happy this site was shared with us! Otherwise I was not sure if I was going to be able to get the 3rd set!

I checked Target today. They had one full set of Collector Ponies and at least half of another set. They had also restocked Rainbow ponies but only Moonstone, Parasol and Skydancer were left. There were no unicorn/pegasus ponies.

Did anyone else see the 5-pony rainbow gift set on Walmart.com?  It’s supposed to be available Nov 8.  Walmart is listed as a retailer on Basic Fun’s website now.  I was hoping they would sell the uni and peg set, but rainbows are good for those who haven’t found them yet.

If you go in the toy section, there should be an endcap of retro/nostalgic stuff. There's actually, like, two endcaps now? Mine is on the one on the end of the shelves with baby toys. The ponies are on the bottom of that here.

But not all Targets have the endcap.  My local Target only just put one back up after not having it for 6 months.

There are rumours of more but Basic Fun hasn't 100% confirmed what form it might take. And speculation is just speculation for now...but there are meant to be more waves.

In the past they've unveiled new ponies at the New York Toy Fair, which is held in mid February.
