Checked the other nearby Target today, after someone at the Target I was at yesterday said they had the Parlor in stock. They must have sold them both sometime later yesterday though because they were out of stock when I went there today. Called up the third closest and asked them, and while Brickseek says they're in stock, they're still in transit to them so they don't really have them yet. Just ended up ordering it on their site, should arrive Wednesday!

Not as exciting as buying it in store, but eh. I'll get the Rainbows too, probably will wait just till I see them in the store rather than going really out of my way like I'm doing with the Parlor.

I started to get my childhood Moonstone and take comparison pics but my childhood Moonstone is very played with condition and I wasn't sure if she would be the best candidate for comparison pics with 35th anniversary Moonstone. That being said if anyone does want me to take comparison pics with my childhood Moonstone I'd be happy to do so.

I'd love it if you could :)

It's so hard to remember my childhood moonstone. I know she wasn't pure blue, but I just didn't think she was that grey. I know the retro artwork has her as a pretty pure blue and maybe that's misleading me.

If it looks similar to an 80s one then I won't mind go getting her. :3

There are multiple versions of 80s Moonstone with varying body shades as she was released and rereleased a few times, one of those versions does closely match the new one but not 100% obviously as the new one still remains a tad darker.

The pink streak in her hair also originally came in either saturated dark pink (similar to the new rerelease which was a color more common in the UK and Europe) or a muted reddish pink which was more common in the US.

The original also had different shades of eye colors ranging from very dark maroon to super bright fuchsia pink which matches the new one.

Wow, I didn't know there were so many different Moonstones. :) I took comparison pics of mine with 35th anniversary Moonstone.

I think the 35th anniversary one is a pretty close match to my childhood Moonstone. :)

My phone camera doesn't seem to pick up her shade of blue very well.

Your childhood Moonstone looks like how I recall my 80s Moonstone looking.  :)  A pretty unique color!  I'm not sure if any MLP had that particular shade of blue besides Moonstone.

Oh, I just noticed on Basic Fun's site they have listed AMOtoys as a distributor which is a Nordic importer and marketer, meaning Rainbow ponies should be at least available at BR-Toys, Toys 'R' Us, Prisma, K-Citymarket, Kärkkäinen, possibly Tokmanni and what ever else.

Anyone (help, please?) - If in your hunt for rainbow ponies you come across a SSC Peach Blush, please snag me one. I am having a heck of a time finding her :(

Found 3 of the 6 today in a San Diego Target! They also had the Pretty Parlor available. Is anyone finding one particular pony harder to find than the others? I'm thinking Sunlight might be quite elusive since she isn't included in the 5-pack collection.

I've started keeping an eye out for her recently since it was mentioned people are having a hard time finding her.  Right now the only two SSC dolls left are on the clearance end caps.  My Target hasn't put out the retro endcap yet.

Well, the good news is none of them are shortpacked . . . they come in a box of six which contains one of each pony.

Love seeing comparison pics, thanks a lot Ponyfan! Your original has blush that is stronger and nicer than the new ones <3

I'm glad so many like the comparison pics. :) I'm surprised I didn't notice the brighter blush on my childhood Moonstone when I was taking pics   I agree that Moonstone is a unique color .

Yeah, it is totally crazy. I did not even know they released her until they already went on clearance. Basic Fun Toys kind of sucks at marketing.

Icey, do you have the DCPI? I don't mind doll hunting and there are several Targets on my area
