I only have seen 3 of them in person but they smell a lot stronger out of the box than in. I don't find them overly offensive though my sister has Sunlight living about as far from her bed as possible so I guess she's not totally sold on her scent.

Another of my childhood ponies.  :)

I haven't taken any of them out of the box yet, but I might take one or two out when I get home.

Seattle ponies: these were the only ones they had in the Pike Place Target, so don't bother checking that one.  (Plenty of Collector ponies though.)

Has anyone else mentioned how strange the scent lineups are? Apple scented blue pony, okay...why not Blueberry?

The scents. :) 

Parasol: strawberry
Sunlight: apple
Starshine: vanilla
Skydancer: apricot
Windy: cherry
Moonstone: raspberry

Most of them smell great IMO!  Though, yeah, I don't get why there isn't a blueberry scent or why Skydancer isn't lemon scented.  But I do really like the apricot scent.

I'll take comparison pics of Parasol with a 1983 Parasol when I get home.  The retro one looks about the same to me, but it might be a little different.  Skydancer looks the most different to me, being a more intense hue.

Once you get them settled in, could you report on the smell MIB? That's how I'd keep one if I bought her and as long as it's not too bad.  Sky Flyer looks so yellow, how I remember her but Moonstone is my girl from the set. I had her and she was one of my childhood favorites.

Also, is the code the same as the other collector ponies?

When they are MIB you can't smell them unless you put your nose right up to the box.  :) Yes, they're a different code than the collectors.
