I would actually like Baby Snowflake, as Snowflake was my childhood pony from that set. But Baby Gypsy is such an appealing thought that I'm conflicted Gypsy was sort of a childhood pony too, albeit she came to me second hand. But now I'm thinking of an ember pose baby Snowflake with a glittery symbol...

Sigh.

What do we think is the actual next set (assuming there is one)? The earth ponies from year 2? Year 3 pegasi+unicorns?

They've been mentioning Big Brothers and there was a campaign asking them for the Celestial Swirl Ponies.

I would guess the Year 2 earth ponies (Applejack, Bow-Tie, Bubbles, Seashell), although I guess that would break the pattern of them releasing sets of 6.  (Originally Cotton Candy and Blossom were part of Year 2, but they already released them, soooo . . .)

That would make the most sense to me since those ponies were crazy popular / well known.   Applejack and Bow-Tie are the most iconic earth ponies in G1 IMO.

Edit:  Maybe they could release Lemon Drop and Sundance with the set?  Since they are also earth ponies and that would boost it to a set of six.  Although technically Sundance was first sold in Year 3.

Double edit:  In case anyone missed it, they've already shown prototypes of the Year 2 unicorns and pegasi (Firefly, Moondancer, etc).  So if we're talking about what set will chronologically follow the Rainbow ponies, I'd say that set.

I agree with LadyMoondancer that the Year 2 unicorns and pegasus ponies will probably follow the 1st set of Rainbow ponies since we saw them at Toy Fair. 

I think good possibilities for the next set after them would be the 2nd set of Rainbow ponies or the first set of baby ponies. I think the next set of Earth ponies is good idea too but don't see them re-releasing Cotton Candy and Blossom.


I'd love to see more playsets and sea ponies.

oh I definitely second putting the mock-up images back up, they were really cute!! I didn't suggest taking them down, I just thought it'd be wise to watermark them, since you never know.

Yeah, I think a disclaimer on the picture like "mock-ups, not from The Bridge Direct" would be enough to squash rumors.  I can't seriously see anyone trying to scam someone else with them.  The widespread use of Paypal has pretty much wiped out scamming in the MLP community.  (I mean, we might get people disagreeing about conditions now and again, but not "ha ha, I took your money and didn't send you anything" scamming.)

I think the discussion was assuming after the Medley set since we know about them being projected and hopefully sales will be good enough to make them a reality for everyone...

I actually want to see the y3 pegs and unicorns and y3 rainbow ponies. Because they fill the gap left in my soul as a child xD. More than the baby ponies, really, because the baby pony I most wanted as a child...doesn't actually exist (Baby Shady).

It is hard to know if they are aware of anything non US so it doesn't hurt to nudge them.

I agree, if it's true that Hasbro UK suggested the Rainbows to come out first in Europe then I hope the UK and European releases will not be completely overlooked.

Very good work, but I would almost prefer to have the "baby play and care set" or have the possibility to buy them individually.

I am worried.  The Amazon preorder links for the Parlor and Rainbow combo pack no longer work.  I had added them to my wish list and can no longer access them from there, either.  Does that mean they will not be available?
