Hmm.. just re watched the toy fair 2018 basic fun vid.  The 5 pack showcased the 5 rainbow ponies with 5 reg combs, 2 star combs & 5 single puffy stickers...  what happened to that???

I really don't like how there's only 1 star comb & 1 large puffy sticker in the 5 pack   and of course excluding 1 rainbow pony...

Yeah, whats up with that? Whats wrong with poor Sunlight, beeing left out like that

I think what happened is the retailers said: Give us a Big Item in the $50 price point, and Basic Fun accordingly produced what they could for $50 . . . five ponies (worth $10 a piece.)  Sunlight and Moonstone are both blue, so it makes sense one of them would the excluded pony.

I imagine paring down the accessories was due to cost.

To be honest I'm just glad they didn't plunk the Pretty Parlor into the $50 price point.

I still think the big sticker looks like a pony pizza. For some reason whenever I see it, I can't get that thought out of my head...

My order status online for rainbow ponies preordered thru US Amazon had said set for delivery & arriving Friday(today, woohoo!), but I DID think it was weird I didn't the usual email "we shipped blah blah blah..."  with tracking #. 

 Today, I received an email at 10am about how the order has now been delayed!  Oh and with no est. arrival date.... GRRRR....

What is going on?  Is the demand too high for BF?  Anyone receive their preorder ponies from US Amazon? 

I've had Amazon completely cancelled orders before... hope this is just a "temp out of stock" issue and not a "product no longer avail".  Boo!

Same thing happened with my amazon order, Kiwichi!
It said in the message they would try to ship by September 16th (or get a new estimated date)... What?
If the order wasn't purchased with a gift card I'd cancel.  We've seen them in person.  Ugh...

Firecracker: I wasn't sure about that sept. date.  I thought we would just have to update the order by that date or else Amazon will auto cancel the open order. 

IF that is even the correct date in Sept... idk what to think, at this point i don't believe them....

My order is delayed as well... Target had half the set last week, and I am kicking myself for not buying them (all gone now).  In my mind, it was all or nothing because the preorder was shipping the 15th...

Yes! I just saw that!  Someone in Utah found the Unicorn Pegasus set at Target.  My local Target hasn’t even put out the Rainbows yet!

Dcpi for rainbow ponies is showing all sold out on brickseeker, but the new dcpi for the uni&pegs are all showing in stock

Lol. im kinda in disbelief that they didnt have enough rainbows and are releasing the uni/pegs already(!!!), also with no announcement. Its quite surprising.

Its been such a terrible day, Im mapping my route to see how many T stores I can hit on my way home (doubt Ill find them all at 1 store)

I’m sorry if this is a double post but I didn’t notice it mentioned. The Collector and Rainbow Ponies have been showing up at Toys R Us stores all across Canada for $12.99! It is so amazing to see them in stores!

I also saw on Facebook where someone in the UK found some 35th anniversary ponies at a store called Toymaster.

Ahh that is interesting! Toymaster are a collection of mostly franchised smaller toy stores I think so it may not be universal...but good they do have a shelf presence here.

I want thise unicorns and pegasus ponies.

I am also now wondering if the US got rainbows that should have come here...

Edit to add - so I actually do know a Toymaster store in this vicinity. I will go see if they have the rainbows on shelf...

Also, did anyone else notice that according to Amazon UK, the maximum recommended age for the retro ponies is 216?
