Haven't been on the Arena in a very long time and had no idea that G1 babies are even being released as a collector set! :whoa: Can't wait to see those in person!

They aren't. People are going to request that TBD/BF make them. :)

Gizmo, those mock-up baby pony sets are so cute! I would love it if Bridge Direct were to make them & distribute them!  :lovey: :lovey: :lovey:

Re: hypothetical set of babies Honeycomb & Hopscotch - would the logical third baby be Snowflake?

C'mon with the UK releases already... *taps foot impatiently*

So, if they do release Peachy and her Parlour later this year, I will have the excuse to buy it for my kid for Christmas  ;) Peachy Parlour under the tree!

I was worried someone might think these mockups are a real product... :(  maybe a LARGE watermark on them might help that?

I'd hate for the images to get stolen on the broader internet and end up fooling unsuspecting buyers in a scam....

yeah, the mock-ups are great but I think it'd be best to put a huge "this is just a fan mock-up" watermark all over it. There's a lot of unscrupulous people out there, unfortunately.

Oh sorry that caused an issue, I deleted the images and hopefully the admins can remove them from the quoted replies?

Re: hypothetical set of babies Honeycomb & Hopscotch - would the logical third baby be Snowflake?

I would say Gypsy, so there'd be a set of unicorn, pegasus, earth. But again, we're talking about rereleasing real babies rather than inventing new ones. It's hard to see that they'd be convinced by nostalgia for a pony that never existed, at least at this point in proceedings.

I think we will be able to tell whether any UK stuff is likely depending on what happens with the parlour.

If the Parlour comes to the UK and is called Pretty Parlour, we can forget anything UK coming from this project because the UK name for the parlour is Grooming Parlour - and if they can't do that, they won't be doing whole sets of UK release items.

So yeah. Pessimistic as it may seem, that's my take on it. All the Princess Sparkle rubbish on merchandise in Primark (and the Dollymix) makes me equally pessimistic that anything UK or European is going to be included in this line.

Though that is also technically good for the UK because it means we have a chance at ponies we never had here.

Aw, that is too bad you deleted them- I think the mock- ups are really really adorable.

I also think the risk of someone getting defrauded by your pictures is not likely-  certainly not more likely than the defrauders using any other photo they could find on the internet. Speculation about someone potentially trying to misuse the photo- seems rather well, speculative.

I say put them back ;)

If Gizmo watermarked them then it would be safe to put them up? Or marked "fan made image" or something?

I think people could accidentally google and find them or mistake them for real in innocence but I think they look so pretty that they should be shared...

I think anyone who googles pony images, and sees something that looks like an obvious (although well done) photoshop image.... is probably very foolish if they want to jump to conclusions...

Yeah, but let's not forget that currently Amazon UK is advertising the rainbow pony retros with a badly photoshopped image of old Starshine in a CP box...

OMG yes, how could I forget her?! A wee Gypsy baby would be sooo cute *sigh*
I would so buy this dream trio!!

I would actually like Baby Snowflake, as Snowflake was my childhood pony from that set. But Baby Gypsy is such an appealing thought that I'm conflicted ;) Gypsy was sort of a childhood pony too, albeit she came to me second hand. But now I'm thinking of an ember pose baby Snowflake with a glittery symbol...

Sigh.
