That is a good point. I didn't notice that before. Also I noticed going back to the link and stuff that it's in £ and the photos have the UK distribution web address on the packaging. So that seems to make it likely they are coming here. The availability date for the wholesalers is 21st Jan, so that means maybe by Feb they'll be appearing in stores too?

If so, I shall decorate my uni shelves further with squishy g1ness.

I may be wrong but I think it's subtly gendered. "Fashems" are the more 'girly' ones. I put that in ' ' advisedly, but that's my general impression.

They ditched the "35th anniversary" and simply went with "Classic"; I hope this means the retro line is now here to stay

Yeah. I sort of rolled my eyes when I first saw ponies under the different name. But it happens with a lot of stuff. You can usually tell by the unsubtle use of colour as well. But it is weird that this one is listed as mashem, as the g4 ponies are all fashems :/

On another note, I just took another look at the four year 2 earth ponies...and I wasn't really interested in any, but I just realised Bow Tie has the pale pink hair, like Snuzzle. Which actually makes me want to get her. So I guess I will look for her if she gets to the UK.

I guess we'll see if/when they actually appear in stores.

They did the same with the Strawberry Shortcake line. It's because the 35th anniversary is over, so they aren't going to package them that way. But I hope so too. I think we will see these "classic" ponies on shelves for another few years.

Could be they decided to ditch the "Fashems" name and make them all "Mashems" from now on.
