POTD 5/11/18 BBE Baby Frosting

okay so I'm actually a HUGE fan of Baby Frosting.

I don't like BBEs in general, but she might be the ONLY one I legitimately LIKE. I dunno, I guess I can't see her as being a nbbe pony. I got her bc I had the rest of her set and wanted to complete it, and also because I had bbe Lickety-split and she was kinda not exactly popular with the other babies.

people say she's pea-green, but having her in my hands, she's really more of a unique pastel. she does look like a soft dessert.  and she really does look SO much better in-person.

usually when people all mostly dislike a pony I agree, but I really have a soft spot for Baby Frosting.

I'd say key lime green.

if she just wasn't beddy bye eye, then I would like her. Maybe if there was a way to change that...

I have her. I don't necessarily hate her, but I'm not a huge fan either. I don't like her pose, colors, or the Beddy-Bye eyes, but her symbol is cute!

I had her a few times but sold them all off. Not into these ponies.

I don’t mind BBE ponies, so I have this girl. She’s a cute shade of green

I just got her. Because she was in the same lot as Sparkler. And I needed Sparkler.

I would like a bait one so I could customize it to be both a NBBE and make her look like a Baby Mimic. Still contemplating on weather she'd have the jewel eyes like her "mother" or regular ones like the other baby jewel eyes.
Along with that, I would like a regular version, but maybe a re-root with some more colors to make her pop? I'd still probably remove those eyes though because BBEs scare me.  But of all the BBEs, I'd be most likely to get her.

One of my stalker ponies. Lost count of how many I've picked up in lots    Not overly fond of her. But then I'm not the biggest fan of BBE's anyway

When I was a kid I had the Year 4 pamphlet, which advertised all the ponies including the Birthday Pack giftset.  But they didn't have a photo of the real ponies, they had a beautiful drawing of the five birthday ponies playing together.  Baby Frosting had her "party pants" (diaper) on, so for years I never knew her symbol!  I can perfectly picture her, wearing the blindfold for pin-the-tail-on-the-pony, with a balloon tied around her back leg.

The pamphlet didn't list the names of any of the ponies either.  So she was quite the pony mystery to me.  For years I wondered what her name was and what her symbol was and if the balloon was an accessory that really did clip on a pony's leg.  (It was.)

I guess I'm a little underwhelmed by the actual pony.  She was a nicer green in the picture.   Still, I like the concept of this set and she's a nice part of it.

I'm not a fan of BBE babies, but I do have Frosting.  She is a pony that makes me feel sorry for her that she's so ugly.  I think one day I would like to add a hot pink stripe to her mane to make her more like the early unicorns.
