Ribbons?

I notice a lot of people have spare ribbons, not originals necessarily, for ponies they purchase.
Are they just standard piece of fabric/ribbons you can purchase? Or are they custom made?
I'd really like some spare ribbons for some of my herd

I just bought a couple of 6mm width en 22 meter long ribbons from aliexpress.
They have tons of colours.
Once I have them I just cut the ribbon and tie a bow in the ponies mane

Ribbons! Oh how I adore ribbons! The people at the fabric store think that I am nuts actually as what I do is go there and buy ribbon in a width similar to the original mlp ribbons in every colour they have available at the time, by the metre. Then I take it home, cut it up into 25cm lengths, seal the ends, and put the resultant 'ribbons' into a large and wonderful ribbon box (sorted by colour) which I bring out at the end of every spa day for new ponies. This is when I decide which pony will be given which ribbon and it is so much fun! Because every pony in my house has a ribbon you see.

This is super interesting and fun to hear! I know what you mean about being nuts - I frequent my local toy store a LOT and as it's small, they know by now I am a collector I think

But that's good to know! I'll get some ribbon.

I buy them at places Wal-Mart and craft stores. I put ribbons on all my ponies who aren't male, aquatic, or moulded.

Thinner ribbons are better for g3s, since they don't have thick tails like g1s, baby ponies g3.5s/g4s. I can't say about G2s yet.
