Tipsy Blossom?
« on: May 03, 2018, 03:52:37 PM »
So, I recently bought a small bundle of three ponies, Medley, Lemon Drop and Blossom. They arrived today and they're all in great condition. I got them for reasonably cheap (free postage too, how could I not?).

When me and my friend first unpackaged them, we completely overlooked the fact that Blossom is a flat foot! She is infact my first flat foot pony, but she has a problem. She is a bit tipsy (literally). She seems to be quite top heavy and every now and again she face-plants and falls from her shelf. Its really quite amusing, but is there a way to stop her flopping? I don't want her to damage herself, haha!

my FF Minty is like that.  all the FFs tend to be front-heavy but now and then they REALLY are.

I have to keep her nestled between her FF sisters to keep her upright on the shelf, otherwise walking across my room would shake her haha

ETA to add that I've heard of people dropping some marbles in the back legs as weights to help balance it out

Yeah, FF are really top heavy. Hasbro put two washers in to try and help, even. That's one of the reasons they resculpted it into the CP. Maybe nestle her between ponies, hold her tail down, or add some weight inside her like Hasbro tried to do with the two washers.

Thank you! I've squished her into the corner and shes being held in place by my Cotton Candy army. As of yet she hasn't fallen, touch wood!

Congrats on your new ponies! As Safflower mentioned, you can weigh her down from the inside. The best suggestion I have seen is to put marbles in her legs.

Thank you! And I actually have some marbles somewhere, I'll try it! Thanks!
