ponies that are BFFs

sometimes you just "put" certain ponies together.  I do it mostly with my baby ponies (not usually as strong of a feeling about the adults for some reason).  it's hard displaying them sometimes because I want the sets together but I like to have BFFs together when I can at the same time

sometimes it's obvious- they're from the same set, or a similar mold, whatnot.  but sometimes it's random.  they just "look" as though they like each other ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I did this as a kid, not so much as an adult.

Yoyo and Baby Sister Sweet Celebrations were always best friends. Yoyo was a precocious brat and Cele was a tomboy and they basically led all the mischief among the baby ponies. Baby Brother Bright Bouquet and Baby Lucky were also friends.

As a kid, Cherries Jubilee and Snowflake would end up together most of the time, but when I started writing pony stories age about eight, about Magic Star and Cherries Jubilee, they became best friends in my mind (along with Paradise). But I never had Magic Star (or obviously, Paradise) as a kid.

Peachy and Lemon Drop always go together for me. Glory and Moondancer, Firefly and Medley. Those are kind of obvious pairing. Masquerade and Fizzy used to spend a lot of time together when my sister and I were playing. I feel like she has Mainsail and Starglow together on her shelf, actually.

On another note, the Sparkle Babies are separate ponies from the Starlight babies even if they share symbols and somewhat a colour scheme - the gimmick is different, and so are their names.

A lot of my ponies (and dolls, and other toys) have BFFs, and I probably seem like a bit of a loon making sure that friends can sit together on the shelves! I especially like to keep together toys who came from the same seller, on the grounds that they're probably old friends.

My favourite friend group is Little Flitter, Baby Ribbon and Baby Tippytoes, affectionately known as the Terrible Three. Baby Ribbon was my first pony, and Little Flitter and Tippytoes were my girlfriend's favourite childhood ponies.

It's funny how they seem to do this, I guess it's aesthetics even if unconsciously.

Though that doesn't explain my Odd Couple, Daddy Apple Delight and Nice 'n' Spicey, who've been an 'item' for years however much the cabinet is rearranged. Now they have Lucky Star with them and they look even more complete.

The rest seem to shake out according to colours, they seem almost group themselves  - my Snuzzle and Cloud Dreamer look as if they are having a right old gossip and Shady is always in the corner where she can keep an eye on things (including us)

Posey and Windy are my pony BFFs, mostly because they were my childhood favourites; they look nice together as well, as they both have quite gentle body colours. Prior to clearing out my G3s, Desert Palm and Silver Glow were best friends as well; they were both named after a couple of characters from a story I was writing at the time and their different designs matched the difference in the characters' personalities really well.

Haha, I've done that with so many of my toys, some ended up dating.
For ponies I wnat to put shady and windwhistler toghter for some reason, even tho I don't own windwhistler (yet)
