What is your favorite pony color?

I'm curious what colors people love the most. I allowed 3 options, but limit it to 1 or 2 colors and/or light/dark if you can.

If you could have the majority of your collection be on one color body, what would it be? In this perfect world, there would be a bountiful assortment of hair colors and gimmicks and such. Generation is irrelevant.

Personally, my favorite is white ponies, especially with dark hair.

What would the colors of your dream collection look like?

White and blue! Especially white. So many beauties... I tend to favor lighter ponies as well, but honestly, the more vibrant the better

Considering my favorite colour is purple, it should be obvious what my favorite pony colour is. However, looking at my collection, it's shown me white in most cases does very well, so white is a close second for me.

Blue and green ponies are hands down my favourite. Those are my favourite colors and are oddly fairly uncommon for ponies! (I know there are tons in those colors, but think about them compared to the ratio of white/pink/purple... Not many!)

My third choice was grey. I really do love grey and grey ponies are even more rare than blue or green! There's only like, 4 total between all the gens, aren't there? (Just the pony toys themselves- Snuzzle, Velvet Bow, Bubbles and Maud Pie? There are more listed as grey on StrawberryReef but some are arguably other colors like blue or purple but just tinted grey? Even Velvet Bow is closer to white than grey but it's super noticeable that she's not really white if you put her next to other pure white ponies)

My fourth, Honorable Mention choice, would be black. Black ponies are sooo cool, and the fact that they are suuuper rare and reserved for very special ponies is AWESOME. Black's one color that I do like to see stay rare.


I really do love all colors of ponies, though. Variety is the spice of the herd!!

I love whites, greys, and browns. I guess anything kind of neutral colored. It just makes their colorful symbols and hair pop out even more!

Blue of course with green for second. Purple gets the third slot and it's just my three favorite colors so I'm totally biased. That said kid me wanted to see more natural coat colors and less fantasy ones. Now real coat colors? Blood bay and dun are my two favorites.

Looking at my collection, blue and white seem to be the colours I have the most of. There are some really pretty ponies in those colours! And of course there are some, e.g. Majesty, who combine the two!

I also really love orange ponies! Applejack, Gypsy and Argentinian Ribbon are some of my favourites for this reason.

Lots of my favorite ponies are either pink, purple, or a combination of the two. I also tend to buy just about every yellow pony I come across.

Funny thing is two of my least-favourite colours are blue and yellow!!!

I've always wished there were more green ponies.  Green was such an underrepresented colour in the G1 lines, which is just such a shame.  But I do love purple and blue ponies

I can't really vote on this because I don't have any overriding colour. I have some colour schemes that I really love (yellow/red or orange, hence my love for Sunset Shimmer & Spitfire, as well as Sunburst), blue/white (like Taffeta and Night Glider), blue/red (like tropical Breeze)...

However for me colour is really...subjective. And...this is kind of hard to explain, but I see colour really vividly and often it's more about how all the colours in a pony mesh together that makes me like that colouring, not just the colour of the body.

I do remember having a debate with myself as a kid between napper (boring hair, nice body colour) and sky rocket (boring body, nice hair colour) and sky rocket won, so I think that indicates that the hair often takes priority for me over the body in choosing stuff - I like pony hair, always have. I can be won over by a pony with nice factory curl even if she has some stray marks on her body, but a pristine body and cut hair is a no for me...

Most of the time though it's an overall palette of colour. Like Mimic. Several of her colours individually are not my favourites. But I like her with those colours all together - because to me they seem right with her theme. And Peppermint Crunch? I would usually really like her pale green colour - but I can't stand it with that lavender hair...

yellow & white, any gen!  I love any shade of yellow pony but especially the bright ones (as opposed to pastel).  the best white ponies imo are the ones with a dark hair color like G1 Glory or G3 Denim Blue.

when it comes to purple, blue, or green, it absolutely depends on the shade and the other colors in her design.
