Non-Pony brag: New camera!

First let me say I am not good at photography, and my new camera cost less than $100.  So, don't expect too much here.   

My old camera was at least ten years old.  Ate batteries like a bottomless pit, and was very slow to react when pressing the button to take pictures.  I was tired of it!

So, I finally bought myself a new camera.  It is a Kodak PixPro FZ53 and was about $80 at Wal-mart.  Not fancy, but an upgrade none the less!

Here are a few pictures I have taken with it so far:

Some Unicorno figures.  This one didn't turn out so great, maybe bad light or my unsteady hand.  Not sure.

All in all, I'm happy with this camera.  Not professional, and not the best quality.  However, it is much easier for me to use than my old one and the price was right.  I think I will keep it.   

What do you guys think?  Any tips for my picture-taking?

My little Canon camera just crapped out. I feel your frustration!  Your new one takes pretty good pictures!  Lol!  Your dog looks like a real character!

Aw, hope you can get a replacement soon!   And thank you, I think the photos are decent at least.

And lol, yeah, Buddy is my spoiled rotten 'baby'.  ha ha!

Congrats on your new camera. I think your pictures look good. I like taking pictures too. I have a nice Cannon camera that cost around $100 but I haven’t used it a lot since getting a smart phone.

I still have a 'dumb phone' because I am too cheap to get a smart one.  lol!  Glad you enjoy yours though!

I have no idea where our camera is.  My Fiance gave me his old phone that I almost exclusively use as a camera >>  Its not active or anything..last active phone I had was a 'dumb' phone ^^'

And lol, I hear ya on the 'dumb phone' thing!  It's what I have and intend to keep as long as possible!  (Mostly because I am cheap.)
