its ridiculous I've checked my walmart and yeah, they only have the male Incredibles figures there, and its ridiculous cause the movie mainly focuses on the mom too from what trailers are showing. so toymakers are probably not happy with it and are just shoving the guy toys out

I wouldn't blame Jakks because they are making plenty of the female characters. I wonder if it's because Walmart has limited space and their moldy old executives feel that the guys would sell better. I can see things like this sadly becoming the norm without a dedicated toy store like TRU.

If the store only orders the case with all the guys it could have been a deliberate choice to make them so. Never heard of stores being able to order 1/2 cases of one wave.
Thats were Jakks could fetch some blame.

BUT
At the very least these toys exist. And there is a focus on Mrs Incredible (she has a toy out with her bike that looks really badass).
Hope this time Pixar didn't kick any female directors/creators out like they did with Brave :P

I personally find it disturbing that walmart's buyer would choose to have incredibles all male toys. That was a fairly deliberate choice since the females aren't on the packaging. HOPEFULLY maybe there will be another wave?

9_9 Just another reason I avoid shopping there when possible. I'm glad I have that opportunity.

Yeah, this is definitely a problem and someone made this choice along the way.

Apparently there's a Target exclusive Family 5-pack in this scale that includes the mom and Violet. So I'm betting Target made a deal to keep the molded clothing versions of mom and Violet exclusive to them. There are also fabric clothed dolls of all the family except Dash in the same scale.

I'm glad to see the dolls made it to Walmart and that they are being sold in the same aisle as the action figures and not the doll aisle. The dolls have removable outfits, 11 points of articulation, and rooted hair and are superior to those fully plastic figures with only 5 points of articulation. The only thing that's still disappointing is Dash didn't get a doll so the only option for him at that scale is a fully plastic action figure.
