I happened to be out running errands at Target, today, and while I was waiting for someone at Starbucks to get out of the bathroom, this black guy walks up with two little boys. He very loudly and clearly instructs the boys to ask the cashier "may I PLEASE have a cup of water"? After they got their water, he instructed them on saying "Thank you." (and these were boys that should've known better at their age, mind you- they looked around 6-8) This immediately grabbed my attention, because so many don't instruct their kids on basic manners, and good values and morals are in a constant decline nowadays. I was so impressed, that I had to commend him for doing so, even though I'm petrified at social interaction irl. What's more, when they left the Starbucks cafe and went back into the Target store, another customer was on their way out with their basket, and the guy gently pushed the boys aside and instructed them on saying "excuse me" to the other customers. Dude did a good job.
