Who was your first Boy Pony?

I'm talking from any generation. They're so few compared to the girls.

Salty was mine as a kid. Dunno what happened to him though. I believe I either lost him during a move, or one of my cousins swiped him. I wouldn't mind having him back.

My daughter"s first boy pony was Chief. My boyfriend bought him for her for Christmas.

Mine was Wigwam just after I first started collecting. He used to belong to Ella. This I know because she wrote her name up each of his legs; poor girl must have had some issues...

Steamer was mine! I still have him and my sister's was Quaterback. Then we had 4-Speed but not sure whose that one was o.O

I was such a weird kid and probably had other toy horses because I remember turning him over to see if he was also anatomically correct

Then later in the early 90's I found a Salty at a second hand store, and he got chewed up by one of my cousin's dogs that they had over, which I'm glad we didn't throw away, so I still have him and he fueled my love for chewed up ponies =D

My first was a loose Steamer, who I found at a yard sale when I was maybe 7 or 8. He's seen better days with some missing hair plugs, rubs and tail rust, but I still have him and I love him so much. I used to pretend he and Paradise, who I found with him, were a couple and they'd adopt all the baby ponies I found and would go on adventures everywhere we traveled. So many good memories!

I remember thinking he was a girl when I got him until I got home and researched G1s, and I was really confused why he was the only 'draft horse' lol.

My sister's first one was Salty, and she also found him at a garage sale around the same time that I got Steamer. She was lucky enough to find him with his original hat though! We'd always play that they were best buds. She still has her Salty and his hat as well, and he's over here chillin' with Steamer at the moment.

Mine was a bait Chief from Sakuracon of all places in 2015. I've since traded him, and my first good condition boy pony was Funko vinyl Big Mac, on clearance due to his broken box.
I love boy ponies, and so far have 3 G1 boys! Salty was my first good condition G1 boy, from a cheap Letgo lot.

My sister's first and only boy is Baby Paws, found in an antique store as a kid.

The part about turning him over to see if he was anatomically correct is funny. Sorry about your poor Salty though

Mine was Sunburst. I had him when my sister was born. He was a present from the new baby

Oh...unless you count baby ponies. In which case it was Baby Lucky. But I count adult and baby boys differently...

I am not sure about Naynie's but it may have been Barnacle...all hers came second hand.

Mine was Daddy Apple Delight.  I thought his symbol was a bit odd but he always looked so confident.

I also thought their family story was really cute.

It was apple picking day in Ponyland! Daddy Apple Delight picked apples and gave them to Mommy Apple Delight to put in a basket. "I'm too little to reach the branches," said Baby Apple Delight, trying to reach an apple. Smiling at Baby Apple Delight, Daddy Apple Delight placed a leaf on the ground, and Mommy Apple Delight placed an apple on the leaf. When they blinked their eyes, the leaf and apple grew into a baby sized tree, filled with tiny red apples! "I can pick these apples!" laughed Baby Apple Delight, taking an apple from the little tree and placing it in the basket!

Baby Waddles (who went by the name 'Flip') or MO Lucky, I'm not sure which came first - both were childhood ponies.  In terms of adults, that'd be Daddy Sweet Celebrations.  The whole family was one of my first second hand purchases.

Salty! Got him on a fleamarket when I was 11yo <3 First and last boy pony as a kid lol. Next was Tex as an adult!

I found BB Tex in a flea market a couple of years ago. I'm just not sure if I got G2 Clever Clover before him or not, I didn't know this fella was male. ^^
