Ah, if only they had invented that. It would make life so much better.

Looking forward to any information or images that come out of this...South Africa is a region I've been really interested in finding out about for a long time...

Hey guys!

So NightgliderSA told me about this thread and asked if she can upload the pics of the backcards from my childhood. I cannot seem to figure out how to do it haha! They range from US releases to UK releases and an SA backcard from South African Seashell.
There's also a photo of the ponies i had as a child. maybe that will be of interest. All of them I got in SA except Baby Quackers which I got on holiday in Holland in 1989. You can't really see her in the pic though anyway.

I just posted on the SA spotlight too in case you are interested.

xx :)

oh, and just to clarify; there were NO SA playsets... I mean they were all UK or US ones. There were no playsets in the SA pony range with prima Toys labeling.
I do know that the Pretty parlour was released here with Italian Peach in it...strange...

Italy did make ponies for export and Italy ponies were sold throughout Europe.  Italy Peachy was sold with the Grooming Parlour in some European countries.

It hardly surprises me that you have an Italy Peachy since other Italian ponies seem to crop up there.

You have to upload your images to a hosting site such as Flickr or Imgur. You upload the images onto those sites and share the links here. If you have a Facebook page you can share links from Facebook here, but you have to make sure the album is public.

Just an update: I'm getting a few more ponies she found from her next weekend (yay end of hard school year present) and I'll ask about it. I'll hopefully be able to take pictures! If it's not a regular school stable lol

That will be interesting to see Safflower  :)

Re: ZuluSeashell's photo's I have edited them for size and uploaded to Flickr. However I don't have time to put them on the arena now; she had a lot (yay!). This I will do later. And I have also sent an email explaining how I upload photos to the arena as it can be tricky in the beginning until you are used to it. So watch this space: photos coming tonight after I have sorted out my kids  :)

Here is a photo of her childhood collection, all of them purchased in SA. Please remember - these are not my ponies, they belong to ZuluSeashell

It's a pleasure pkw  :)

Just a note to all that ZuluSeashell's photos of her SA herd as well as her collection of backcards have been posted under the spotlight for the SA Ponies. There is a lot of discussion happening around the topic, perhaps it is best to try to keep it all together in one place.

I bought another lot from her, and she said the stable was at her mothers house. It'll be a while until I see it, or if I ever see it. She did tell me it didn't come with any ponies though.
