I DO have her, but unfortunately, her scent's gone off for years, and she just smells slightly vanilla-y like most normal G1 ponies tend to do.
however, pastel green+pink is one of my favorite color combos next to pink/blue, so I can't help but love her despite me thinking she's a bit plain otherwise.

I used to really like this set in the comic, but not so much in person when I found them (all at carboot sales, don't recall if I saw them in stores or not). I don't like the choice of pose for Peppermint Crunch, who was my favourite of the set then. She reminds me of toothpaste and I think is meant to smell like it, too.

Mine has the vaguest scent of polo mints around her, but she used to be a chain smoker - when I got her, she smelt of cigarettes and nothing else, so if she has acquired or relocated her mint smell, I have no idea how. Twenty plus years without a cigarette maybe? Guess she kicked the habit...

In any case, I am not a big fan of this set, but the completionist in me makes me have them all the same. Peppy is better in most regards at least than the evil Chocolate Chip and the noxious Butter Kiss, both of whom have scents which could inspire a rebel army to surrender.

I like that Peppermint Crunch has the same name between UK and US because it means I don't have to use my brain when talking about her.

I think if they had given her a different pose (like Pristina) I would've liked her more.

Mine is made in China. I mention this because all the Sundae Best I have ever had from the US have been made in Hong Kong - but I haven't ever had a US origin Peppermint Crunch and would be curious to know if HK is the norm for her over there or if there are both HK and China in equal numbers.

I still need a HK Chocolate Chip (gulp) but with the German variant in there as well, I am not sure my cupboard is strong enough to stand it :/

I have her, I got her quite some time ago so I can't remember where she came from. She no longer has a scent, but I think she is so cute with her colors and symbol!

I have two of her She is cute. Neither of mine smell, they just smell like pony vinyl. One does have the faintest mint smell, but it's hard to smell.

I wouldn't mind having her. I received one a few months ago in a small lot that were labelled in good condition, yet were obviously not in good condition when I actually saw them in person. Poor Peppermint Crunch was the worst off: a name written across her butt in Sharpie, initials across all of her hooves in a bright pink ink, stains on her body and in her hair that looked like tobacco stains (luckily, no smell that I noticed), unkempt hair, otherwise dirty body. I tried to clean her up, and even tried to dye her thinking it might cover some of the stains, but the dye wouldn't hold and nothing I tried helped. So I thought maybe she could be a custom or a restoration. She's been hairless in a small bin of hydrogen peroxide on my windowsill. The ink has only recently showed some fading. The tobacco stains are patchy and faint now, but some are still there. I'm not sure of her future yet.

But it'd be nice to see a Peppermint Crunch that wasn't treated so poorly, and know what she's supposed to smell like.

I consider her the last pony I need to complete my firefly pose bunch. I love her body color and purple hair is always a favorite!

A name written on her butt you say? She shouldn't have gotten her bf's name as a tattoo.
