question about SIlky Pup (from Lady Lovely Locks)

I've gotten into Lady Lovely Locks recently and am thinking of getting Silky Pup. I noticed in pics she has this plug- thing in her tummy; does this serve a purpose? Is it just let water out if kids took her in the tub? I tried looking it up but kept getting stuff about *real* Silkies, lol. I need to know!

It is just there, and I may have  one of you want them.

There is no purpose- I'm sure it was just from where the injection mold was filled. Lots of toys from the 1980s have big plugs like that
