Anybody know anything about this vintage lunch box?

It's marked Ardee Industries. I googled "Ardee Industries lunch box" and got hits referring to Barbie and another doll named Tutti.  :what:

Perhaps you could ask the owner of this site: https://barbielistholland.wordpress.com/2008/10/20/1966-1979-tutti-todd-chris%E2%84%A2-cases-houses-picture-catalog1/

Apparently, my computer hates that website. Firefox keeps crashing every time I try to navigate it. I didn't see an email address either.

Yeah it seems to not work so great on my computer either.

I am unsure if this e-mail will work, as I found it off of the Google+ page that seemed to be for the barbielist webpage

Sorry but you are not allowed to view spoiler contents.

I heard back from her. She said it's not Barbie. She directed me to this site.

http://the-ultimate-daisy-page.m.webs.com/site/webs_21516376/home?url=http%3A%2F%2Fmembers.webs.com%2FformMail.jsp&dm_package=1#1011

I contacted this site and was told that it's not this doll either. So I'm back to square one.

:( Bummer, I'm sorry.

It kind of seems like the ardee lunch boxes took dolls and set them up in scenes, without the licensing? Like that Skipper or Todd one referenced on the Barbie site doesn't seem to have "mattel" on the packaging...

It's definitely not Tutti (Tutti was like an even younger version of Skipper in the Barbie line).  If anything it looks like a doll in line with the Hasbro Dolly Darlings or Uneeda Tiny Teens, but it's neither of those. I'll do some digging to see if Mattel got into that "shorter than Dawn, but taller than Kiddles" market.

Ardee was just the manufacturer.  You'd get much the same mix of results if you looked up "Aladdin doll lunch box".

It actually reminds me of the lenticular pieces that came out of Japan at the time.  I'm not sure if the dolls are Licca-related or not. Look at this gallery on Pinterest to see what I mean https://www.pinterest.co.uk/mkanelos/lenticular-spectacular/  But take a better pic of the doll itself. It might even just straight up be Licca, but that's just what the artist had on hand, not that is was actually marketed as a Licca lunch box.

Like this one, definitely Licca.

I only googled "Ardee Industries lunch box", not "Ardee Industries doll lunch box".

Here's a close up of the doll.

I also tried googling "Ardee Industries history" to see if I could find anything on the history of the company. Google gave me the history of Ardee, Ireland.

I may be completely wrong but she reminds me a bit of the sindy fleur dolls that were around in the 70s/80s.

If it was licca then it'd have to be a first gen (60s) design, but I think the face shape is different so I'm not sold on it being licca even though she was imported as lisa here in europe.
