Comic Canon: Young Celestia

G4 fans may remember a lot of fan interpretations of younger Celestia portray her as having pure-pink hair, based on the opening storybook scene where she is portrayed as having pink hair:

In the comics, the first issue of Legends of Magic features this Celestia:

...and in the new issue, a three-page preview shows that Celestia gains her colors over time:

Neat, and although it's not show canon, it's something! I think the other theory was that Celestia gained the colors when she used the elements of harmony on Nightmare Moon, and it was sudden instead of gradual. Anyone else have any thoughts? I think she looks like Trix yogurt. Mm, Trix...

Man, I really need to catch up on the comics!  I love the art . . . Just seems like I never have time to read anymore.

I love the idea of her gradually gaining her hair colors. <3
