Smartphone plan/vendor recommendations

Thinking about upgrading, I've been carrying around a flip-phone for a while. Anyone got any recommendations on which carrier to go with?

-Aside from the cost of the hardware and accessories, I shell out around $120 a year with Tracfone. Might as well be unlimited talk/text considering how rarely I use it, I've got more minutes than I use.
-In terms of data plans, occasional facebook/discord use, probably a World of Warcraft app, light browsing, and rarely a GPS app if I ever go out of state.
-I'd prefer to avoid contracts if possible.
