Enamel Pins and Patches
« on: March 07, 2018, 12:59:16 PM »
I'm noticing these are becoming quite the trend! I actually just picked up a denim jacket the other day to put patches on

I'm LOVING this craze! I've seen so many cute and cool designs come out of it. Fandom, geeky, original, aesthetic-pleasing... they have everything! It's looking like these are becoming a great new way to express yourself.

I actually have a pinterest board for them myself lol! I'm looking to collect ones related to dinosaurs, monsters, cryptids, and some video games I love. Right now I don't have any, they're just a bit too pricy for me to afford right now. Maybe for my birthday?

Do any of y'all collect? Have displays? Ita-bags? Wishlist? Share with me!

I used to collect character patches and pins back in the early 2000s from HT.  Unfortunately, I lost many of the pins because I put them on my purse at the time and they would fall off little by little.  I do have a handful of pony pins now, including the fan made Princess Tiffany one that popped here not too long ago.  I cannot remember the name of the creator but they have done quite a few others including Fizzy, the Bridal baby, and two different Stockings versions (one pink and one red).  I want more including the ones you have pictured there by Sugar Bunny Shop, but at $10 or more a pop, I have not had the funds.

I'm not big into pins, but I have a few. I've seen some that are neat, but not enough to actually buy them.

Until the other day, I saw this Harry Potter themed one I just had to get (link)

Oh If I found pony pins in the store I would buy them all.  I like enamel pins but I am not fond of other pins really.  I like patches also.  I collect Disney pins and vintage children's pins but I love that pony pin you have pictured there.  Where did you find that?

I like patches more than pins, I think. I got a jean jacket for $4 at a thrift shop and I've got a lot of patches on it. I ripped off my girl scout patches and I think they look neat! I need to find more vintage ones.

Oh, I do have some Disney pins now too.  My mom bought a bunch on eBay for me to trade when we went to WDW for our honeymoon in February.  It was pretty fun to trade with the cast members.  I was so tempted to buy new ones there but they are so darn expensive!

I have a few Disney pins, but otherwise I don't really collect them. I love the pins I keep seeing on Instagram, but I don't buy them because I am certain I would lose them. Oh, but occasionally I buy pins at conventions and stick them to my badge lanyard.

love them

about a year ago I came upon a trove of Disney enamel pins at the thrift store but I was feeling cheap and couldn't talk myself into doing eBay so passed them by ... kinda wish I hadn't.
