"Normal ponies" means regular scale ponies, not styling size. I counted those as "larger brushable ponies" for G4 and "other ponies" in the other generations.

Normal pony count is 378 (including anniversary G1s and Newborn Cuties G3.5s). I have the most G3s in terms of normal ponies, the most G4s overall. I have the least of G2 in both normal ponies and overall ponies (curse these ponies being so rare in the wild!).

Total count is 668, this includes each figure and plush in my collection, sans G4/G4.5 pets. Last I had counted less than a year ago I was just over 500, not sure what happened, I guess a huge increase in the amount that I've been thrifting. Getting a job certainly helped.

I could have miscounted at any point during this, since I counted most of them manually (I really should work on adding more stuff to my Snupps, it'd help a lot), so 668 is the estimate but it could be a bit higher or lower.

I'm trying to inventory mine right now.  Currently have 365 G1 ponies unpacked.  2 1/2 more bins to go.  I don't collect other generations, but I do know that by accident I have one G2 and three G3's.  I did buy G4 Applejack and Fluttershy, but because every unicorn has evil slanted eyes, I chose not to collect G4's.

Oh dear... I thought I had around 350 at last count but I've just counted them on my spreadsheet (yes, you read that right - I made a spreadsheet) and it's closer to 600!!!! Mine too, it seems, are breeding...

I don't see my collection growing too much anymore. I've been considering selling a few that are my least favorites or downsizing to only keep my very favorites even but haven't made any decision yet. I only have one on my wishlist.

I'll be doing another full inventory this weekend, but I don't know if my latest purchases will arrive in time. I'm hoping to get a full playset inventory while I'm at it.

There will be ponies everywhere. Someone save my living room.

Oh and I should clarify all those counts also include plush and McDonalds ponies.
