 It's always interesting to see whose grown, whose shrank and to hear multiple cries of "How did I get so many? Are they breeding?"

My collection has grown steadily. I have 82 now.

...how do I have more G4 than G2? I like G2 toys better, but I guess I haven't gotten any G2s in a decade. And my G3 herd used to be a least twice the size.

G2: none, I sold them all when I moved. I only had a handful.

My all time record was 380, I have downsized a lot.

My current count is 4, consisting of 3 G1s and a G2. I used to have about 20 ponies but in a room this small? No thank you!

Oh goodness. Is 'too many to count accurately' an acceptable answer?
Mostly complete set of G1, G2 (non-euro exclusive only), and more G3's than I've ever bothered to count.
Thankfully G4 is unappealing to me; running out of shelf space!

I haven't done an accurate count in years, but I'm close to finishing setting up my pony room so I may just be able to soon..  except the number may scare me (I still have to insure the most prized prices too).

I don't have an exact pony count per gen, all my ponies are in boxes or invading my parent's furniture. If I counted them right, I currently have 152 of them. =) I'm updating the number on my profile when I don't forget its existence. ^^

 I haven't done inventory for about 3 years but it must be over 400 G1 by now plus about 15 doubles 10 special G3 art ponies ect plus 4 HQG1Cs plus about 25 customs from swaps and stuff I think thats every thing

g3s on display: 14 (1 MIB) + 2 custom ponies
g4 on display: 1 (lol) (+ 2 blind bags)

Then I have 6 boxes or so with g1-2-3 both loose and MIB/MOCs and playsets. And a bunch of plushies and stuff.

I actually did/have been counting them but my paperwork for the count is at home and not in London :/

I haven't found my petites yet to count them. Aside that, I think the count for my ponies (not my sister's, just mine) across all generations is...a lot. But I can't remember how it breaks down. I think it's something like 94 G4, 165 G3, 45 G2 and the rest G1 but I am not sure.

Naynie has about 400 in her collection, give or take a few. I haven't counted hers, but we always consider it a joint collection.

Most of our collection came from carboot sales, trades or new in stores though. Current pony prices are too insane to try and collect on that scale now. This is the product of 30 years or so...I would hate to be just starting out in the current price climate

Seriously I have no idea. I know for sure I have more than 100 of G4 brushables and more than 200 of G4 blind bags. If I had ponies from previous generations in my country I'd have them too, but I have less than 50 of them. The shipping price from overseas is something like a 10% of my paycheck.

If just taking the main display cabinet then there are 55 G1s and some customs......

However, there are splinter groups all over the house :-
9 flutter ponies waiting for sets of wings (the current craft project),
2 customs in Hubby's study just because he likes them,
20 odd G2s and G3s waiting for a shelf,
3 Christmas ponies who only come out in December,
a few in 'rehab' who need restoration
and of course Poser BeachBall and his partner-in-crime Peg-leg Moonstone who live on the crafting desk.

Blast! that's nearly 3 figures!!, and I only collect those that I really really like, not complete sets............

I haven't counted mine for a while but I'm pretty sure they've been secretly breeding as they seem to be overtaking my house.  There are ponies everywhere.

Mine goes up and down very often. This is what I have right now:

G1: 128 original ones, 15 Remakes   
G2: NONE
G3: 16 NIB, 1 Jumbo Frilly Frock Plush and 2 PJ pal plush ponies.
G3.5: NONE
G4: 4 NIB and 2 customs

A total for 165 ponies!
