I never had a lot of boyfriends in high school and college, and I thought that I just probably wouldn't get married. But then I met my husband, and it really makes a difference when you find someone that you are so compatible with. We just bought our first home together and we are about to celebrate our fourth wedding anniversary in May

I've been with my husband for 10 years and we've been married two years in April...I'm pretty sure he's got me TAF Night Glider as my anniversary gift!

I'm also happily married. This year (2018)  will be our 13th year married  (2005) and 15th year together  (2003)    
Hubby gave me the extra confidence to be who I really am inside . He was the one who got me to display all of my ponies/ continue collecting openly rather than in secret- and he collects too   he helped me restore my childhood collection We are the kind of couple who can tell what the other is thinking by a look , and share a joke without having to say it out loud   (although this also means he knows when I'm planning a spending spree before I even suggest going shopping    )
 I  made him a crazy cat man lol !!   
 he buys me ponies and (Frozen/Tangled) dolls for our anniversaries

Congratulations, it is wonderful to hear of happily married people.

I've been married a bit longer than you. Don't think Hubby had come across a horsey gal before me - the horse I had at the time loved him (that's when I knew he was a keeper, animals just know).  He also inadvertently started off my adult MLP collection when he bought me a couple as a little present before we were married .

   I am married but I have both a pony collection and a cat collection - they both grew a lot bigger *after* I got married       so.. I'm thinking it doesn't matter whether your part of a couple or not when it comes to these things      I also have a doll collection.... oopsy!

Definitely a keeper! and yes animals know, totally agree - they usually have very good judgement when it comes to people
