I have a partner, Debby! We've been together over six years and talked about marriage not long after we met but... I want to get my name legally changed and be in a place to support my partner/maybe live together and afford a nice wedding- basically, I'm emotionally ready for a wedding but not financially.

I think about marriage a lot though and we've already planned some things we want for our wedding! It's a huge deal to me, I'm very excited.

Well, all my serious relationships were pretty much toxic. I just broke up from my boyfriend a couple of weeks ago and I greatly enjoy giving myself a long period of time to embrace single-living. Freedom feels great.

We have a thing called "civil marriage" in Russia. The definition of that thing is when people get married without the Church involved, but it's actually used for people who live together for a long time. I'm not officially married and I don't ever want to be. I don't believe the whole "love lasts forever" thing and I don't want to spend my time in court to divorce xP

Congrats on reaching 20 years. that is a major accomplishment. This year in summer also will be my 15th wedding year anniversary. We known each other longer than that. We had a 72 hours wedding thing. My parents were up for a summer vacation and we decided to just get the whole thing over with. I was super nervous. I got through the whole ceremony. Maybe it was for the best instead of waiting a long time to plan the whole wedding.

Congratulations!  My husband and I will celebrate our first anniversary in June.  We have been together since autumn 2014 though.  I enjoy our relationship more and more every day.  I was in a bad marriage before I met him (again), and I could not be happier that I finally broke free of that toxic relationship.  He has taught me so much about how love and marriage should be between two people.  I have to say though, I kind of wish we had eloped or done a destination wedding so it would've been a much smaller wedding.

He was in Sweden and I was in the US. Well, we got married and I moved to Sweden and have been here for almost 5 years. lol! Where did the time go??

My trouble is, I can't possibly feel attracted to someone I don't know, and once I get to know someone, I end up enjoying our friendship so much I don't need to take it any further. Maybe this is what they call being aromantic... Like, why love one person romantically when you can love up to 7.4 billion people platonically?
