POTD 2/26/18 Mimic

I want her! I think she is cute, plus I love birds! And her name is perfect And I love the magic horseshoes episode, it was one of the two first episodes of G1 I got But I can't justify her price, and I am not in a hurry, so the only way I will get one is in the wild or as a gift!

I have her. She was a gift. Shes special and I love her. Her colors are amazing. Her symbol is unique. A lovely pony.

I like Mimic It comes down to personal taste, of course; I like her colors and pose and think they're pretty. It's a very dynamic pose. I found one on Craigslist in a lot for a decent price; like others have said, I don't think I could justify spending high prices on her unless she were higher on my wish list (she was just at normal, "oh! she's cute, I'd like her" level )

Have her and love her.  Her colours are refreshingly free from pink and purple (minus the small pink stripe), and her symbol is delightfully frill free!  Am a bird watcher, so I appreciate her parrot symbol.  Green ponies are sadly underrepresented in general, so I love picking up new ones.  Overpriced to be sure, but I hate having incomplete sets, so I had to buy her.  It was very satisfying to finally own her, as "The Golden Horseshoes" was one of my favourite episodes when I was growing up, and she became a firm favourite of mine when I was young.  Unfortunately I wasn't lucky enough to own her when I was a child, but now that childhood dream is a reality.

I want her. Due to wanting but never getting any TE ponies as a kid I have a need to complete the set. She isn't my favourite out of the set actually - Gingerbread is much prettier - as I don't like that pose; though her colours and symbol are awesome. But I will need to get her.

I have her and I love her - she is unique and pretty. I like the unusual color scheme (for MLP) , and I love that pose too  I think she looks awesome displayed with other TE's but also with Barnacle - the pirate pony and the parrot pony..they go well together
   I didn't get her for her value/rarity - those don't matter to me

   I didn't get her for her value/rarity - those don't matter to me 

My daughter thought the same thing. Her Sunrise Song is married to Barnacle and their daughter is the Baby Mimic I had commissioned for her for Christmas.

I've wanted that pony since I was a kid.  I just never spotted her in the store when the other twinkle eyes were there.
