Favorite Disney Princess/Queen/Leading Lady?

Who is your favorite Disney leading lady/heroine/princess/queen?  Mine are Princess Aurora, Cinderella, Lady.  I tried to add as many as I could remember but let us know in the comments if you chose other, and who it is.

I also like Nani from Lilo & Stitch, the Atlantis women and princess Jasmine. Basically I like confident/sassy/strong female characters.

Mulan, hands down. That movie was one of my favourites during my childhood (might have played the VHS into submission...) and watching it again more recently, it's still awesome.

Pocahontas is definitely first choice. I loved her so much when I was a child, and learnt all the words to the Colours of the Wind song. I remember watching it on VHS and pausing it so I could write down the lyrics.

For the other two, I picked Mulan and Snow White (I just find Snow White really endearing, and have a bit of a thing for collecting dolls of her). But if I had more votes I would also pick Merida, and Duchess (Aristocats was a big favourite of mine when I was little), and maybe Lady; oh, and I'm not that big a fan of Frozen, but I do really like Anna....

Mulan, Meg and Jasmine. Aladdin was the big Disney film for me growing up. I actually don't like Lion King 1 so much as 2 and Nala is barely in it, so not really a heroine for me. I do like Kiara from the sequel but not as much as Kovu. Belle is also very cool but that's kind of more my sister's pet film rather than mine. My favourite Disney film now and since it came out is Mulan. And Meg sings one of my favourite songs from all of the Disney repertoire. Also she and Pegasus are pretty much the best things from Hercules, a film I don't really like that much.

That one was harder than the favourite villains. I could have easily chosen twice as many. In the end, I went for:

- Belle: I loved her growing up because she doesn't mind being different from the other people in her village and she loves reading... and she gets a library as a present!

- Miss Bianca: She's so sassy and courageous. Plus, she works for an international aid agency, which is very awesome.

I also added Judy Hopps. I've only recently watched that movie, and I liked how she follows her dream, no matter what, and stays so positive, even when things are tough.

I picked Aurora & Mulan, which have respectively been my two top fave Disney characters since I was a small child and saw their movies. Not included in the poll is my third favourite... Giselle!

Belle since I'm an author and a bookworm and she's been my favorite since childhood. Cinderella because she is far more interesting than most give her credit for and because her true strength is her kindness--something which is often overlooked in modern storytelling because it doesn't seem as 'strong'. Rapunzel because of her inquisitive and spunky personality and because she is willing to sacrifice for those she cares for. (While what she is willing to sacrifice is not as large as what Flynn thinks he will need to give up, it is still an active decision and made me really admire her.)
