Collector of the 80's - The art of Display
« on: February 22, 2018, 05:28:20 PM »
Well, I found some oldies but goodies from the mid 80s while looking through my photo albums of old. Hopefully the links will work. Back in the day, yes, ponies on display.

I love how you've got all their tails braided so nicely with their ribbons in them!

There are a lot of similarities between our bedrooms circa 1986.

The night stand, exactly the same one I had, and the three playsets were the three main I had as well.

I dont have pictues of how i had my other playsets, sadly. This was back in the day when we couldnt take unlimited pictures. i think there may be a couple more somewhere, i just need to hunt some more. I thought surei had one of paradise estate setup but i havent found that one yet.

However i do think there is homemovie on vhs somewhere, i just have to one day get it transfered so i can view it digitally. My dad once recorded me naming all my ponies...lol.

Also pony defenses were not very good, if you notice, there are two bushwoolies guarding the castle door on either side.

I'm guessing maybe Skydancer had an objection to sharing perch space with Fairy Tail birds. And bushwoolies can probably be bribed with candy ;) (You needed some dragons in there to shake things up a bit).
