I know it's a nightmare for many collectors, but I'm curious about how different a pony looks with white hair

Fun fact : Since the inside part of her tail wasn't exposed to the sun, her color remained intact. =D

I'll share my TAF Yumyum, baby tiddlywinks, and TAF Love Melody when I get a chance. I got Yumyum BECAUSE she was white with white hair, before I found out it was supposed to be light pink. My other two are only partially faded.

Some still have a bit of pink left while others have had their hair fade completely. And in the case of Sunspot, her mane is completely white but her tail is still pretty pink!

I want to get around to repinking these girls eventually.

My sister's Tornado has a very dashing white mane and tail, looks like it was always that way and she likes him better with white than pink. I'm hunting around for a picture of him but I don't seem to have one though

I'm one of the faded pink haters I'm afraid Ponies I have with the faded colour get upgraded, though I always keep the original as well. There is no rejection for graying hair in this pony house

For me it depends on the pony. I think Steamer, Tornado and Glow look great with white hair.

It bothers me when Posey,  Twilight, Starcatcher, Bunny Hop and many others have it. They look sad without pink hair.

I thought I'd like white hair better on Trucker, but I fell in love with the pink when I got my boy.

Good thing its an easy fix.

I've been actively purging my collection of fading pink hair ponies.  I can't stand it when it's faded (though I do agree Tornado looks better with white hair) or "semi-faded."  It's sooo beautiful and vibrant in its starting state, but it just fades too easily.  So my fading pink ponies always end up living in paper bags in boxes in another box under the bed.

TAF Yum Yum is one I'm having a hard time letting go, though.

I've faded a few ponies pink hair accidently when I didn't realize it was fading color. I've tried to be more careful with my fading pink hair ponies but I did fade G3 Starcatcher. Desert Rose and my SS Twilight's hair while still a great shade of pink is not as pink as it used to be. My Baby Cotton Candy also has faded a little because I didn't realize she had that same color as well.

My Pinkie Pie and Desert Rose's hair are almost completely white! They're very faintly pink.
I owned these two since I was very little, so I never noticed they faded.

I'm not sure there is a list. With the G1s I note on my site on every page with a pony that is prone to it, because of people thinking white hair is a variant, but I am not aware of a full list and I don't know about G2 and G3.

I am not sure how universal it is for G3 either. The G3 anniversary Pinkie Pie (with the name on her leg) on my PC has the same kind of pink hair with tinsel and she's had full sun a few times and is still really pink. (She shouldn't even be here, she's freeloading, so I'm not really trying to protect her. She ended up on my PC about 3 years ago and never left xD).

It would also be nice to know if there's a relationship between the fading pink and the breaking pink that falls out or not with the G3.

And wel, I Have Desert rose and she faded. I was always intrigued by her very white color scheme... But now I see why.
I also have two G3 Fluttershy I, one of them has definitely faded. I don't remember for the other one, it's in one of my boxes upstairs.
