POTD 2/6/18 Seashell

I have her: one of the first 'replacements' I bought for my mysteriously missing childhood herd. I think I got lucky with her: she is still in pretty good condition.

I also have a *very* baity girl who is extremely faded who I was thinking of turning into Taffeta's purple Minty. She was purple, right? I have to go and look that up...

She was purple Although the fading might mean you need to redye the body as the fact file image is VERY purple.
Would be awesome to see when you're done though. I have always wanted that Minty to exist since I was a kid, she was the only minty I knew about till I encountered Miss Pea Soup at the carboot sale and wondered why her symbol matched Minty...

Also, Night Glider, what is your Powder doing with a silver horn? Does she think it's still the eighties or is she just reeally enthusiastic over art and craft?

Yay! I loved that look on her when you posted in the other thread  - Khoufu, Taffeta can tell you better as it is her memory but there is a fact file card for G1 Minty that actually shows her as purple.

And Powder... yes. She is one of my 3 'unlost' childhood herd members. And apparently I felt that her horn needed to be silver. And, well, there you are then

@Khoufu, in the UK in 1987 we had a horseshoe point offer to send off for a binder which contained pages for all the ponies (allegedly) out at that time, 125 I think, and each of them had a picture and a story. In that file, Minty looks like this...

She's not a fakie, she's a baby Keyper.    The Keypers were a line of critters that had a secret compartment so you could hide "treasures" in them.  They did a lot better in the UK / Europe than in the US.

I think her name is Glitter. I remember the adult horse was Diamond (the original one anyway) and I think the baby is Glitter but I don't remember. There were a few horses and some of them didn't get names.

I like her! I have never seen her in good enough condition for me to get her though, since I'm overly picky with my collection. But the colors and the pose are soo nice <3

Love her.  I only have the HK version of Seashell.  Love the white star on their noses, too!  Such a shame they didn't make other ponies in this seated pose, it's adorable. Wonder if it was because of the Pony Wear outfits weren't properly wearable on the seated pony pose?

I love the sitting pose but somehow I never got round to getting Seashell. I wouldn't mind getting her one day but she's not a priority.

Here she is, all dressed up as an astronaut! (Fitting since I only have 2 shoes for it.) Perfect attire to watch the Falcon Heavy launch an hour ago.
