Can you repair cracked packaging plastic?
« on: January 31, 2018, 09:38:09 PM »
One of my 25th Anniversary MLP sets has warped plastic, with a rounded edge along the front instead of square. When I was moving it I must have pressured it and the brittle plastic cracked along this corner. It's not overly noticeable but I was wondering if it is actually possible to glue the plastic, and what kind of glue is recommended to try?

If I'm more likely to make it look worse I won't risk it, I'm still kicking myself for the initial accident.

Thanks in advance for any advice.

I'm thinking that if you glue it you should use a mild glue. The "fumes" of the glue will stay inside the plastic with the pony as it dries and if it's a tight seal: forever, and you don't want it to do damage to the pony over time :S But that might just be me beeing overly causious.
