If you were to rename the Rainbow Curl Ponies (just for fun)

So yeah, this from the POTD again without wanting to take it way off track and away from the ponies.

The US names for this set are very generic.
The UK names are saddled with the repetitive prefix "Rainbow" which is clunky and awkward.

So I wondered, if we were to rename the ponies in the set, what names should they have had?

US name: Stripes
UK name: Rainbow Storyteller

I actually like just Storyteller for her, it sounds kind of cute as a name. But her symbol is more of a shooting star. That might work (Shooting Star) on its own, or Comet Trail or something like that.

I suggested Concerto in the POTD thread and I'm going to stand by that. I don't know if it needs any other ornamentation. But I think there are probably other musical names that could be applied.

I have too many emotional memories of this pony to really be able to rename her, but would love to hear any suggestions. Given that the UK version of her story connects her to granting wishes, maybe *she* should be the one called 'Mirage'. Not least because she has no symbol, but she does have those hidden stars under her hair leading up to her wings...

I think something elemental or weathery or sky-ish for her. Horizon, perhaps...? Skyline? Or something directly related to clouds in some way...?

My renames would be . . .

Stripes --> Comet Tail, Skychaser

Streaky --> Lyric, Octave, something like that.

Ringlet --> Starfall

Raincurl --> Honestly I am okay with Raincurl's name as is.  But a rename could be Silver Lining.

But being serious, I'd have to think a bit more for serious answers, but Stripes looks like a Wishing Star to me. I agree something musical for Streaky too, like Prism Melody or something, need to think harder there though.

Edit: Oh! I think Harmony is simple and fitting for Streaky. (Is there already a pony named Harmony?).

And something related to gliding or her wings for Ringlet, but still can't think of anything (LadyMoondancer's suggestion of Starfall is pretty though).

Still drawing a complete blank for Raincurl, honestly, I think her actual (NA version) name is fitting already.

When I come up with my own pony OCs I tend to go for nature names (since they're horses, after all) or pretty names, but for already-existing ponies I like a little kitsch. So I actually would probably just stick with the same names for three -- Rainbow Rider, Rainbow Magic, and Rainbow Cloud -- and then go with Storyteller because that's awesome. ("Rainbow" doesn't really belong in front of her name so I'd leave it out.) I've never thought the name "Stripes" suited that pony. She's not a zebra, after all.
