Quenstion about BPS variants

So. In a recent BIN lot, I acquired a second Baby Princess Sparkle, and I was all set to sell one of them, but then I realized...

My first BPS is the version with the pink glitter, and the one I'd just gotten has purple glitter. I was aware of the variants, but had forgotten until I noticed the difference. So... now I have both? I'm currently deciding if I want to keep one or both of them, so I'm wondering...

Is the variation just that some were made one way and one another, maybe in different batches? Is one rarer or more sought after than the other? Thanks! Let me know if you'd like to see a pic of them together.

I did some research a bit. but it seems no one has a clue if one is rarer than the other. http://www.aikarin.com/mlp/scrapbook/babyprincesssparkle.html But congrats on getting her. I didn't know her existence and I think she's adorable.

Thanks very much. Jury's still out as to if I'll keep both of them. If I do keep one it'll be the one with purple glitter; her hair is less faded and her tinsel is a bit nicer.

I think the purple may be more common. I see her pop up on ebay a lot more than the pink anyways
