I love his name It perfectly fits him imo, after all he is a "salty sea dog"

In my herd he's Mainsail's mate, Clipper's dad (hmm, looks like I don't have any photos of Clipper, either; have to rectify that soon) and the first mate of my pirate pony crew :B

Thanks! It was a happy coincidence that he matched them. Not pictured is Braided Beauty, his mate. G2 make for nice young teen girl family members.
Also, I spy a Waterfire in your crew. She's my absolute favorite pony! What's her position on the pirate ship? Does she man the cannons or flamethrowers or flaming arrows?

I have him. With frizzy, trimmed hair. Rubbed symbols and a rattle. But I plan on rehairing him and repainting his symbols and then he will look awesome  Anyway, I love the pony. And here he is:

They're quite difficult to find! I acquired five of the first UK release at once but found Tug later. I've only Chief from the second/Big Brother release, those cards seem even less common.

Almost all the UK carded versions of every pony are harder to find than their US counterparts, especially the earlier ones (pre 1988) and especially now, so you did well In some cases only one or two known examples exist of the UK carded version vs several US ones (Tic Tac Toe is one such, Strawberry Fair may be another...). It's nice to know that some old UK ponies MOC do exist in the hands of collectors who will value them. You're right about Chief's set, by the way. I believe I only know of one or two of those around and a couple on Spanish translated cards. I've seen a couple of the first set ones - Quarterback and Trucker I think - on ebay over the years, but yeah. They're not easy to come by.

Happy to know someone has them and is keeping them safe for posterity.

Don't have him yet, but do want him.  I don't have a huge collection of Big Brother ponies, but I hope I can complete the sets eventually with all of their accessories!
