Spoof mail

(1/1)

alkevin:
I received  an email  starting: My first name and last name, do you need assistence... I though somebody did try to enter into my account. The the mail came again, again and again. The mail adress wasn´t suspicious, but I decided to send to ebay´s spoof mail and in the end was a fake. So I wanted to warn you be careful with those.

Loa:
I get them quite often too.

Miniature Sheep:
I feel your pain on that front, there have been some dodgey e-mails claiming to be from Paypal cropping up as well. Ugh, so much for the internet making life easier. :pout:

Taffeta:
My favourite spoof mails are the ones that tell me there's a problem with my bank of America account. Well, there would be. One, I don't have a bank of america account. And two, I'm not in America. So yes, no wonder there are problems.
Apparently spambots don't understand regional email addresses.

Thanks for the heads up on this one :)
