I thought this was too cute not to share 

My little family was have a family snuggle and we were joking around. The topic jumped to me asking why the girls chose to watch Spirit, Stallion of the Cimmaron this morning, and I asked if it was because I had allowed them to watch Dances with Wolves for the first time the other day (they're getting older and their minds broader). It got us talking about who our favourite characters were, and what would our Indian names be. It led to a lot of innocent laughs, especially since one of the girls' fav characters was Smiles a Lot - so a lot of the names followed that pattern (burps a lot, cooks a lot... you get it...).

I changed it up to what would your pony name be? My husband was Chief, off the bat. The youngest daughter Little Giggles   My eldest daughter unanimously got dubbed Windy. Three guesses why, lol.

Then we tried to pick me. I went through the Mummy pony names... suggesting Mummy Bright Bouquet, because I like gardening. My eldest daughter then trumped all and said, uh-uh.... nope. Mum, you're Mummy Swears a Lot!!!  Ok... not really a pony but it's true and I'll go with it....

 

 
Anyway, if you had to name yourself after a pony, and your family members, who would they be and why?

Eeee I love this! I've thought about my pony name a bit and it actually came to me during a blizzard we had a few weeks ago: Winter Storm! My cutie mark would be some sort of cloud with windblown snow! As for my partner, when I ask him what his pony name would be he always says Rainbow Dash  Not very original! I will see if I can pull something more creative out of him 😂

I'm gonna say as of right now, I can't think of anything other than Shop Talk. I love hearing about gossip even when I shouldn't be getting myself involved, and I've got an interest in retail.

I'm not really sure.
Though having thought about my personality and quirks over the years, I think I my pony name would be...Spitball.
Not because I spit or anything, but because I'm a rather naive individual and like to throw out ideas and perspectives just to see what sticks.

Using real pony names, my boyfriend would be Gusty because he breaks wind a lot and finds it hilarious.
I would be Star Hopper because I want to travel the stars.
My sister would be Scribbles because she draws.
My dad would be Speedy because he used to do competitive roller skate dancing, and as a result was fast on his skates.
My mom would be Sweet Tooth because she loves Haribo gummy bears.

Those family pony names are adorable!
My pony name would probably be Kitschy Catastrophe because there's a special place in my heart for tacky things or in terms of actual ponies, then I suppose Love Melody because I also really enjoy lovey-dovey power ballads.
Dad would have to be Munchy, for reasons that are commonly associated with that pony, or Songster because he likes to write and record his own music.
And my sister would definitely be Salty (finger snapping in a Z formation goes here)

Oh geeze. I'm a teacher, however there aren't many ponies around the teaching profession. Oh top of that, the know it all ponies, like Twilight Sparkle, Wind Whistler, don't really have names that represent that fact.

That leaves Miss Hackney and Cheerilee.

I have a bunch of oc ponies and decided to take on the name of one I put too much of myself in when writing. Her name is sapphire but she goes by saphy. Her colors by dumb luck are fairly similar to jewlery baby sapphire and she's only 12 so she is a kid though not really a baby pony so if it has to be an existing toy it's her but it's more my character.

But otherwise, it would probably be something tied up with mediaeval Japan...
