Wow, Peachy was a scuzzy little pony! You did a great job making her pretty again! I never thought about using ball bearings to help remove rust; that's something I'll have to try if I ever get a rusty pony:)

I love seeing restorations. It makes me happy to see these less-than-stellar looking girls get the love they deserve. It's a very satisfying feeling seeing the before/afterr pics.
And I love the ball bearing idea. I've always had the worst time cleaning out the legs and hooves on my ladies, and never even thought about using something like that to assist!

I find this tutorial  extremely helpful. However, all of the links routed to Pony Preservation Project that lists doll hair that needs rerooting all link to online sites for rerooting purposes. Is there no way to find the doll hair one needs to reroot a pony in a common crafts store, say- Michael's? (in the U.S.)

The ball bearing trick is interesting!! I'll have to tear apart my fidget spinner (or buy the clearance ones we have).

I haven't seen doll hair at Michael's myself. They might have some sort of hair, but never the varied color choices that online indie stores can give you. They also won't be the same quality in most cases.

I did- especially dollyhair. But I'm shacking with someone who's a teensy bit paranoid about online shopping, so I can't order anything online.

That's very interesting to know your methods. I'll take for me your trick of using little balls to shake inside de pony and remove the rust from inside her. I also see very useful the plastic zip ties to maintain the tail hairs. Thanks for sharing it

The ball bearing trick was my father's idea and I told him how much you like it, he's happy too now. =P
