Air brush NOOB question- keep original eyes?

New to airbrushing!  Horrible at painting eyes.  Can I do a FBR and somehow keep the original eyes?  How?  Tape? Cream of some sort?  Blocking off all around eye and finishing the FBR with a sponge or brush?

More NOOB questions on air brushing to come, I’m sure!
