Portal chell doll: anybody know a good base?

Hello there! I’ve been wanting to make a doll of chell from portal 2 for quite some time. I have planned it out and just need the doll base. That’s what it’s called, right?
     This is my first crack at doll customization and I am hoping to eventually make all of portal 2 (cores/robots in the geekenders play style) as a collection. But to do that, I need bases or whatever you call the doll part.
     Does anybody have any recommendations of dolls I could use or where to find them?

That's such a cool idea! You could probably use a Made-to-Move Barbie body, and a D.C Superhero girl head since the D.C Superhero girl head mold has a pretty similar jawline to Chell's. Maybe Wonder Woman or Supergirl will do.

Perhaps one of the new Star Wars dolls would suit your purposes? They're readily purchaseable off the shelf, and some have a similar skintone and rooted with hair in a similar colour/length to Chell.
