Unfortunately her body isn't as white as the flash makes her look. She's somewhat yellowed. I did get most of the marks off her, even those on her stripes. She had a LOT of inground dirt on her legs, and I made a lot of progress on that.

Her hair is looking... better, but I have a few more tricks to try before I call it good. Thought I'd show you how she's coming along!

I say the least you do the better.  Fixing the hair and cleaning her and removing a stain that you can safely do is best.  I would not paint her at all, leave her as she is.  I have seen this happen to this pony with a peroxide sun fade.  So, I am thinking that once again someone did a peroxide sunfade on her and it changed her symbol color.  If that is the case her eye color may be changed also if they sun faded the head too.  You may need to use heat elements on the hair at low low setting with conditioner.  I recommend a number 2 first with pony hair.  Test on the under side one hair first.  Sometimes I go as high as a 3 to remove frizz.  It may not remove all of it but it will restore it to a much better look.

As a colorswirl collector, I find the yellow lovebeam quite fetching. I can't wait to see her all dolled up.

I didn't know Munchy was a hair stylist? Is that her second job?

I like the yellow stripes too. I think without her symbol she could pretty much have a new name and start a new life to be honest. But I also wouldn't tamper with her. She's had a hard life to get to that point, but I'm sure it was all worth it...

I really like her yellow colouring as opposed to the orange personally - what a great find! And I also like your idea to do an alternate rehair once you find an upgrade. I think that is a good idea and it is probably what I would do myself. I might not even repaint the symbols if it were me, but this is your pony and entirely up to you: really looking forward to seeing what you do with her. She is looking so much better already!

You kind of have to wonder how her symbol got so rubbed off without damaging the stripe underneath...

Thank you, everyone. I think for the moment I'll keep her as is. I've been tempted to repaint her symbols but for now I have other MLP restorations like rehairs I can work on, so I can give it some time to think about.
