Hello! I'm Marie. I'm 36 and I live in the UK, East Yorkshire. I'm married with 3 cats. Not planning on children.

I loved ponies when I was a kid, then at some point gave all mine away. A few years ago I felt inspired to start collecting the ones I remembered having, and it has escalated from there! I was intending to only collect G1 ponies, but I have somehow ended up with both G3 and some G4 as well, although I am not really keen on the latest ones. G1 are my favourites.

I have a small collection which is growing. My husband collects lego and action figures so he totally understands my pony love, and is very supportive. He bought me three G1 ponies for my collection at Christmas!

I'm not a super fussy collector, although I totally understand why some people are. I don't mind a few body marks and frizzy hair, but I wouldn't buy a pony with it's mane and tail noticeably cut.

My favourite ponies are any with a star/sun/moon theme and the MGR ponies - I currently have Flower Bouquet, Sunny Bunch and Brilliant Blossoms and I love them!

Welcome to the arena! I only collect G1 but I end up with a lot of ponies from other generations too! It's great that your husband is supportive :) I look forward to seeing you around the forum! :biggrin:

Welcome to the arena, I absolutely adore the merry go round ponies as well! Even if I only have one so far.
Ponies tend to be like that, you swear you'll stick to one gen but then there are some sneaky other gens in lots or in the wild that I ended up taking home.
