Have her, love her.  I think she's very special as she's modelled after the original conception art for MLP when they were still being developed as a toy line.  Maybe not the most exciting colour scheme out there, but I still think she's very sweet.

My first ever pony!
Dad got her for my birthday after searching in vain for what seemed like aaaages.
I loved her so much and brushed her hair daily, learning to plait it.
I took her to school and she played with the ponies that my other friends had - especially Bubbles.
I kept her back card safe for as long as I could but over the years it has gone... I adored the pastel artwork!
I still remember her lilac/purple comb and her ribbon... unsure where they ended up 
She was a concave foot version.

...aaaand....

I have the 35th anniversary version too, as of today! Just waiting for it to travel over from the US to the UK

I got the 35th Anniversary version of her yesterday.

Cotton Candy was my first pony. My mom still remembers buying her for me in the store. When I was telling her about the 35th anniversary ponies she said she didn't remember Butterscotch being one of the original ponies. I have my childhood Cotton Candy, FF Cotton Candy, Baby Cotton Candy and her accessories (a gift from a friend) a RAOP Cotton Candy, and the Hallmark ornament I got in a Swap here last year. I don't have a good picture of the ornament though.
