Suggestion: writing campaign for baby pony re-releases?

The last time the community had a writing campaign it was about wanting Minty as a G4 pony, and Hasbro did make her as a G4 pony.  I do think it was a nod to us, because the box specifically said "with MINTY!" on the front. 

With the 35th anniversary ponies out (the Collector ponies), why don't we do another write-in campaign?  I think it would be most effective if the community were all asking for the same thing instead of two people asking for Mimic, one asking for So-Softs, two people asking for Rainbow Curl ponies, etc.  (I also think Hasbro is unlikely to want to spend extra money inserting Twinkle-Eyes, adding flocking, or anything else that requires an extra step in manufacturing, lol.)

My suggestion: 

Let's ask them to release retro baby ponies!  Specifically, what about asking them to release baby versions of all the Collector ponies?  Not just Baby Cotton Candy and Baby Blossom, but Baby Minty and Baby Snuzzle, etc.

Other people are free to make suggestions too of course!

Just to be clear, I am talking about people individually writing in.  Not a petition or anything like that.

Maybe also ask TARGET (or other big box stores) to ask for the Baby pony re-releases, The people at Funko once said that they make what the buyers (stores not us) want so if one or more BigBox is asking for these, it would help!

I definitely believe the 'collector pony babies' is a neat idea and feasible for Hasbro. I suspect a non-nirvana Baby Minty would be the most adorable creation to ever be molded onto this earth.

A part of me desperately yearns for Hasbro to release the Tales girls alongside brushables of Teddy, Ace and Lancer, but ah well.

I would just like to start at the basic point of people outside of the US getting any retro pony releases at all. We didn't get those things in boxes and we didn't get the 25th anniversary ponies in Europe. No reason to suppose we'll get anything. For me that's the first step. Hasbro need to know that we're a global market.

If they released Firefly and Medley again and they still didn't come out in the UK, I would be pretty angry.

So if you're going to do this campaign, please ask for international distribution of the retro ponies you suggest.

Just to clear things up, I am not suggesting a petition or anything "run" by me.     Just everyone individually writing in.

I don't like Teddy and Ace as characters so personally I won't be asking for them, lol.  If other people want to then of course they are welcome to.


Also!  It turns out the recent toys are licensed from Hasbro but made by The Bridge Direct, a company that has made other retro toys (like Strawberry Shortcake and old time Fisher-Price.)  So presumably they would be the ones to contact.  I am going to add their contact info to the first post.

Since the 35 Anniversary Ponies are made under license by Bridge Direct maybe they should be the ones who are the focus of any writing campaign?

I've wrote to them, saying to release them internationally. Saying it's unfair that USA gets them while others don't.

I'm going to tell my collector friends in Spain, it would be a good idea to propose it. I would also like a reedition of the takaras, I would love it, but that's another story
