Interesting that Hasbro UK was the one who said "No, start with the Rainbow ponies, not the Collector ponies."  I guess I wasn't expecting that level of detail to be involved and assumed The Bridge Direct was only dealing with "one" Hasbro (the US branch.)  At most I thought maybe Hasbro would give TBD a list of what was released and be like "Have fun, lol."  Sounds like Hasbro UK is more hands-on than I thought!

They'd have to be, though. Not just for the licence, but also the amount of artwork? Poster and packaging and so on? It does make sense.

Hey, I had a filling today. Just as possible I misunderstood...I may still have anaesthetic swirling around my blood somewhere xD.

I saw these at my Target a week or two ago and stopped in my tracks and was so blown away by seeing it! I'm kind of coming back to the MLP community after a long hiatus.

I wrote my letter to Hasbro after doing a very gruelling lesson plan on Japanese war crimes. Hope I didn't get the two muddled in my envelope. Thank you LM for the scan thing - I found a few nice examples and a photo of one of the comic covers from my own collection. It's only a little bit but I want to reinforce that they really sold us those ponies in every regard except...selling them to us.

Thinking that there's a good bet for Posey's set next year. I actually think maybe that set more than the Y2 one as they've already done Cotton Candy though I guess it could be a way to bring CC overseas. Dunno.

Second reply from a Uk store saying they've passed the info about the retro ponies to their buying team. This time, Asda.

They said that feedback and input like that from customers is important, so if anyone else in the UK fancies emailing asda about retro ponies?

I know it's no guarantee but at least if it goes to the buying team then it's better than not even considering it :/
