The fact it's the only review makes the line look bad and could damage it further. It needs US people to go in and leave other reviews to balance out those opinions so buyers can get a better range of views, rather than just one which frankly doesn't seem to match the normal experience.

“The toy industry as we know it has been around for over 100 years, and it’s not going anywhere,” Foreman added. “We’ve been through wars, financial crises, upheavals in retail, the advent of video games and mobile gaming, and we have always found a way to bounce back and thrive. It is . . . and it also has the collector ponies listed on their website:http://www.schylling.com/p/retro-my-little-ponyIs it possible that Basic Fun / Bridge Direct is producing them for the US and Schylling is producing them for . . . somewhere?? Or is Schylling maybe another branch of Basic Fun?
Just a FYI: The Rainbow Ponies (with exception of Sunlight) are up for pre-order on US Amazon. The price is $9.99 releasing on August 15th!Collector Ponies (6-Pack)https://www.amazon.com/Basic-Fun-Little-Pony-Retro/dp/B00GSOQ092/Skydancer: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07BT4YHPK/Moonstone: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07C9TNWGX/Windy: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07C9TN17Q/Parasol: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07BTHSWVG/Starshine: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0789JFWPV/
