Preordered them, hope the 5 pack might be some of the earth ponies as it doen't give much hint of what ponies is in it other then they are original.

They showed the 5 pack at toy fair and I believe that Sunlight is the one left out.

It seems this has not been discussed here but according to the NY Toy Fair there will be 3rd and 4th sets of ponies coming out this year, and possibly a license for 3 more years (I read somewhere) Like we suspected the original rainbow ponies come back - not so exciting if you had the 25th anniversary ponies.  They are releasing the 6 original unicorns - Medley, Glory, Sunbeam, Firefly and Twilight. SUPER excited for these!

Who do you think will be the harder to grab ones from the confirmed upcoming sets?

Rainbows: I say Starshine because everyone will be wanting to upgrade theirs. As well as Moonstone for being one of the most popular.

Unicorns: Moondancer and Twilight. Only because we've had Glory released twice recently in the Running Press and Loyal Subject sets.

Medley: For the same reasons as Glory.

They say the Rainbow Ponies will be available in August!

...While Basic Fun keep insisting to me that they haven't released publically any information about a US release date for the Rainbow Ponies.

When obviously they have.

Even though the Rainbows were originally European exclusives and then were at the very least in Europe first, Europe have not had any confirmed release dates as far as I know.

Basic Fun certainly told me that there hadn't been any confirmed release dates here either.

That is amazing Ponyfan in all this time I have not found a complete set at all at any of our stores.  Thankfully I have all of them finally.

If it helps, the ones I found as preorders will be released on the 05.July and the site is based in Sweden.

Apparently it was decided that Europe should begin with Rainbow ponies as we apparently don't know who the collector ponies are well enough. Or something.

Someone here was kind enough to ask a lot of questions at the toy fair

June, huh? Well it was April originally and the manufacturer told me Spring, but now won't tell me anything, so I guess that's probably because there's a delay. I just wish they'd actually just say that. I mean the information is clearly out there. Why not tell people?

I wonder whether the collapse of TRU has had an impact on that delay.
