I've got an old Rainbow Dash plushie I made when I was in 7th grade. I can try to hunt her down and snap a pic, but she's nothing to write home about. 
Next convention I attend, I plan to purchase a custom plush. They're just a bit pricey compared to the official plush, so I end up talking myself out of it.

Oooh wow such wonderful plushies!  Skeen, your plushies are amazing, I love that Ember!     I wish I could get some custom plushies but they cost too much for me.  Maybe someday I can at least get a plushie of my pony persona, I would love that.

I wish I could make my own plushies.  I'd make so many plushies.  I'd sell a bunch and take commissions and make a huge amount for myself.  I'd make them in my own style with G1/G3-ish shaped heads, but I'd do characters from all generations.  I'd make some small ones and some big and floppy and hug-able.  Sorry I'm rambling a bit but I've thought about this a lot.  Only one problem -- I don't know how to sew!

Technically neither do I so it's really not all that hard!  The only "formal" training I ever had was in like 8th grade, some friends and I made a baby blanket for one of our teachers and as the only one who had never sewn, I was taught to hand sew.  20 years later that's the level of skill I brought with me.  If I can do it, anyone can!
